What a fantastic day of pétanque at Newcastle Pétanque Club!

We had a great turnout with 6 ladies’ teams and 7 men’s teams, bringing together 39 players for some top-quality competition.

The weather was hot and the atmosphere was buzzing.

All matches were closely contested throughout the day.

The two Division A finals were absolutely thrilling, with incredible displays of skill, strategy, and determination right until the last boule was thrown!

26 players took to the pistes for our Twilight Singles Competition (Summer Season Round 5), battling it out in very humid conditions. 

Some players arriving at 5:00pm and not leaving until well after 9:00pm!

Despite the heat, the atmosphere was great, and everyone had a really good time! Made even better with music and pizza!
